O'Keeffe first saw the adobe Ghost Ranch in 1934. O'Keeffe spent endless summers in New Mexico, and the home is said to have nurtured her love of nature. The u-shaped home is situated remotely in the desert of New Mexico. The home and studio is unassuming.
